Home – neither a place you live in nor a place you arrive at. It’s where you belong, and ultimately return – a return to the beginning, a return within.
The Indigo Sun by Rupa Bhullar
No one can run from his own story. It is important to have a purpose in life to live and just being alive is not living. The Indigo Sun is a story of finding a person long lost. A person part of you but no longer you. It is about being happy and celebrating life in every moment. The story is about discovering a meaning of life.
Maya, a young NRI woman finds herself lost standing on top of the ladder and having everything one would wish for, still she feels incomplete. She is looking for that light in life that would guide her and take her on her way to happiness. She wants to be happy again and live her life once again even if it means to start all over again from the beginning.
It is a slow read and little dramatic but life is no less than a drama and it is a life story of Maya. The best part of the story is it reflects life beautifully and will make you think. The storytelling is simple and touches the heart. I feel moved the way characters are designed and the story flows throughout the length of the book. I do not find any loose ends and is crafted intensely.
For those who love life and believes in living it the fullest. Join Maya on her journey to home, who knows you will also get your answers on the way.
The treasure of true happiness lies within you.
