It was the dark and starry night. The city came to a standstill deserting the roads and silencing the noises. I hear the owls howling somewhere near from the crowd of trees.

I step outside for a quick walk under the stars in the silence. I love nights because it gives me a chance to hear the voices of nature lost in the music of daytime.

‘What’re you doing outside?’ a man standing on the pavement at the pole asked.

‘I came for a walk,’ I felt obliged to answer him.

‘What you doing here?’

‘Getting some fresh air. I am tired of lying all day and night,’ he said.

He leans back on the pole and looks at the sky.

‘Where do you live?’ I asked.

He looks at the other side of the road and points with his finger. ‘There.’
